Class Details
FOR ALL CLASSES: Bring a suit, towel, pen/pencil and goggles. The Introductory (Intro) class is NOT a prerequisite to the Beginning class. Classes are taught at:
Brandon Sports Aquatic Center, Brandon, Fl
The Long Center, Clearwater, Fl
Intro Class
Intro (4 hrs) - One class, approximately four hours in length.
Ninety minutes on land, next two hours in pool, final 30 minutes is a recap of the class and discussion about how to continue the healing process.
This swim class is geared to introduce the difference between our methodology and traditional swimming methodology.
This class is about understanding your fear and how to remain calm.
Everyone goes at their own pace, there is no competition.
You are always in control!
Fee $15/hr (Total $60)
Beginning Class
Beginning Class (24 hr): Continue from where you left off in the Intro class. Going at your own pace. This class is offered in sessions depending on pool availability. Please see schedules for each location. Link from the home page.
You can learn:
1. How to be at ease and calm in the water, shallow and deep water
2. How to be in control in the water
3. To put your face in the water happily
4. To float in water on front and back
5. To move anywhere you want to go
6. To turn around, jump in, to get air when you want
7. To enjoy the deep water
8. Most importantly we teach you how to remain in control in the water
Everyone goes at there own pace, there is no competition. While the above mentioned skills are typically taught, some people learn less and some people learn more. We teach you individually and as a class, so that you learn at your own pace. No one hurries you and no one holds you back. There is no limit to your progress. Class Fee ($22/hr)
Next Step Class
Next Step Class (24hrs): Continue from where you left off in the Beginning class. All our classes have one goal, to bring you to total freedom in shallow and deep water. You will master skills introduced in the Beginning classes.
Class Fee ($22/hr)
We cannot guarantee that you will be a lap swimmer by the end of the course, as lap swimming is not the goal of the Intro, Beginning or Next Step classes. In these classes, each student progresses at his/her own pace. When you’re comfortable, swimming comes naturally.
Freestyle Class
The Freestyle Class (30hrs): Brings the lap swimming basics to you. Continuing from your Beginning and Next Step Classes, this class teaches you the lap swimming basics to swim laps for fun, exercise or competition. This class is taught in a shallow pool. The student must be free in shallow water (5ft) to enroll in this class.

STUDENT AGREEMENT/MONEY BACK GUARANTEE:
Every registrant agrees to the statement below.
"I understand that Water Elements provides a unique teaching. I understand that Water Elements is responsible for presenting the MSI teaching, meeting me at my level, and answering all my questions regarding the MSI method. Water Elements will help me learn the course material. As in any class learning situation, I know that my responsibilities are to:
*attend all classes
*listen, ask all my questions
*understand
*apply the teaching to myself and my practice in the water
*practice and ask for help when I need it
*do the "homefun"
*give myself all the time I need.
If I don't keep this agreement, I understand that I am not entitled to a refund. If I am entitled to a refund, it would be for the course fee. If I'm entitled to a refund, I may take the class again for free (within 12 months) instead of getting a refund, if I choose. I will receive no refunds for missed classes."
As stated above there are no refunds for missed classes. If you miss a class you may make up the class time by joining another class that has an open spot. All make up time needs to be complete within 6 months of the original class date.
"Rain-out" classes will be scheduled as soon as possible. Every attempt will be made to accomodate student schedules - where possible.
Cancellations Fees
If you cancel 15 days before the class date - 20% cancellation fee
If you cancel 10 days before the class date - 40% cancellation fee
If you cancel 5 days before the class date - 60% cancellation fee
No refunds for cancellations within 5 days of class date
